RFG addresses the critical need for highly qualified, commited, globally aware individuals to serve the public as national leaders in roles that relate to international issues, foreign policy and national security. The foundation seeks to support outstanding graduate students who represent diverse backgrounds and perspectives, with a common embrace of government service as a future calling.
There's no greater challenge and there is no greater honor than to be in public service.
Condoleezza Rice, Former United States Secretary of State
Robertson Fellows are among the most promising students from some of America’s leading schools of public service, policy and administration. Our emphasis is building a corps of public service leaders to help the United States formulate and implement international policies, programs, and partnerships for the benefit of American citizens and people around the world.
By supporting their education through academic fellowships and funding for government internships, RFG enables fellows to emerge from graduate school with lower or no financial burden so that they may pursue federal careers with complete dedication.
Professional development programs and networking continue for alumni to support ongoing career advancement in public service leadership roles.
