Why do you want to serve on the RFG Alumni Council?

Mentorship: A significant responsibility of this Council is mentoring the current fellows at each of the respective partner schools.

Why do you think it’s important to mentor the current RFG Fellows?

What ideas do you have for engaging as a mentor with the current cohort of RFG Fellows at your partner school?

Can you give an example of how you have served as a mentor, either in a formal or informal capacity, in the past? Please share how your mentee benefited from your interactions and what you learned or gained from the experience.

Professional Development Programming: Another significant role of the Council is to orchestrate professional development, networking, and social programming for RFG alumni. The following questions relate to your interest and abilities in this area

What types of professional development programming do you think our alumni need the most?

What type of professional development programming would you be most interested in implementing?

Given we have alumni in different geographic locations, what are some of your ideas for virtual professional development and/ or social programming?

Can you give an example of a time when you have planned an event, virtual or in - person, as a member of a team? What role did you play and what was your individual contribution to the effort? Also, how did you promote collaboration amongst team members when working on the project?
