Claire McGillem is a Presidential Management Fellow with USAID in the Bureau for Conflict Prevention and Stabilization, Office of Conflict and Violence Prevention. In her role as the monitoring, evaluation, and learning specialist, Claire supports the bureau and overseas missions to assess the effectiveness of USAID's peacebuilding programming.

Claire received her MA from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, where she studied international security and post-conflict reconstruction in sub-Saharan Africa, with a specialization in design, monitoring, and evaluation of U.S. foreign assistance programs. Claire received her bachelor’s degree from Carleton College in political science and international relations, with a minor in French and francophone studies.
