Chad is committed to pursuing a long-term career in the federal government. In February 2013, Chad joined the Treasury Department as an International Economist focusing on U.S. trade policy. He currently covers southern Africa. Before Treasury, Chad taught at a boarding school in Massachusetts and worked for a marketing firm and a foreign policy think tank.Chad has an undergraduate degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and Master’s degrees in Economics and Public Administration from Syracuse. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with his wife Jess and daughters Aven and Calla.
