Public Administration & International Relations
Katherine Maxwell graduated in June 2022 with a Master of Public Administration, a Master of Arts in International Relations, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Data Analytics for Public Policy from Syracuse University.
During graduate school, she completed internships with the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command's Office of Women, Peace, and Security, and the U.S. Government Accountability Office. Katherine is a Class of 2022 Finalist in the Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) program.
Prior to attending graduate school, Katherine supported federally funded research projects on health disparities among LGBTQ+ populations at her alma mater: the University of California, Los Angeles.
She has three years of international work experience and professional fluency in German. Katherine taught English in Austria and conducted policy research on gender issues for the European Institute for Gender Equality, an EU agency in Lithuania.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies, with minors in German and Gender Studies, from UCLA.
