Clay Parham is the 2019 Richard D. Huffman Distinguished Scholar in International Studies from Baylor University (TX), earning his BA with minors in German and political science. Clay competed on Baylor’s nationally-recognized Model UN Team, consistently winning top awards with his teammate. In 2017, he served as a legislative aide for State Senator Kirk Watson during the 85th Legislative Session. In 2019, Clay won a grant to present and publish his undergraduate research on the modern German far-right at the European Union Center of California at Scripps College. Clay recently spent a year in Dresden, Germany, as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant. He plans to study US military policy and will serve in Texas A&M’s Corps of Cadets Army ROTC program.
