Anne Robertson Meier
Anne Robertson Meier is a founding member of the Robertson Foundation for Government.
Through her interests in medical research, education and the environment, she supported the establishment of the DNA Learning Center of the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, helping to make biology and genetics more easily understood. She is a past director and present honorary director of the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Association.
Ms. Meier is a past trustee of Oldfields School, an all-girls preparatory school in Glencoe, Maryland, and has established endowed scholarships at Denison University and the College of Charleston.
She is a past director of the Low Country Institute, whose mission is environmental education, effective management of native habitats and water quality protection. Ms. Meier is the principal sponsor of Coastal Kingdom, an EMMY award-winning environmental TV program seen in the southeast, with 30 episodes to its credit. She is a past director of the Banbury Fund and currently serves on the board of directors of The Meier and Linnartz Family Foundation.
