To celebrate Black History Month, HBMO/DEI in partnership with BHA Black Caucus is hosting The Black Humanitarian Experience. Black people have been serving as humanitarians in various capacities throughout USAID for decades.  In this event, today’s Black humanitarians at USAID/BHA will showcase their career experience to potential future humanitarians.

We invite you to The Black Humanitarian Experience, an event exploring a career in humanitarian assistance and disaster response.  Come and hear from your colleagues about their various educational backgrounds and work experiences that led them to their humanitarian careers at USAID/BHA.

This is a great opportunity to showcase USAID/BHA. We have invited various Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs), and professional organizations with diverse memberships. We invite you to share with your community who may be curious about a humanitarian career. Let’s not keep this event a secret!

This will be an exciting afternoon with interactive conversations. Put this date on your calendar and share it with others.
